Citronella
Citronella
Height: 24-36”
Spacing: 18-24”
Exposure: Sun
Growing Tips: This citrus-scented geranium makes a great patio plant, especially in containers. Avoid over-fertilizing, as excess nitrogen can diminish the leaf fragrance. While oil from crushed leaves may help deter mosquitoes, the plant is mainly valued for its refreshing scent rather than as a repellent. Position citronella near gates or paths so you can brush against the leaves, or place it in pots for children to enjoy rubbing them. These plants grow vigorously and are drought tolerant, but be sure to bring them indoors before frost.
Uses: Great in containers and landscapes or gardens.
Offered in flats of 4” round 10 per tray
