Deadheading isn’t needed for continuous blooms, as plants will “bury their dead” with new flowers quickly covering the old ones. This plant handles heat well and can surprisingly withstand cold temperatures, but it doesn’t like wet soil. If it starts looking tired in the summer, a quick trim can help it bounce back into top form.
